If you are already in Spain or even in France, then we probably have not to tell you about the excellent local railway connection? High-speed, very comfortable trains will take you to the ESTACION RENFE in Alicante in a few hours. From the station in 10 minutes you can walk to the bus stop Estación del Autobuses, and there you can easily reach Benidorm. A network of bus routes is remarkably developed here, and trips to Benidorm are especially popular in the summer, so we recommend buying tickets in advance. Imagine that in less than an hour’s journey, you will throw your suitcase in the “Caballito del mar” and you finally can step on the golden sea sand and breathe the fresh breeze with your full breast!
If you prefer speed, your destination from anywhere in the world is El Altet Alicante Airport. An express bus runs from there, which takes you to Benidorm in one hour for 9.45 euros. If you first need to get to the city of Alicante, then you can get from the airport by an ordinary city bus, and then change to a regular bus or tram number 1, which runs every 30 minutes. Such trips will cost quite good price – no more than 10 euros per person. But a taxi from the airport to Benidorm can cost 80-90 euros.
